Should I pursue being a Flight Attendant or enter Law School instead?
-
I'm graduating from college and am about to enter the real world. But i'm having struggles about my career options. I want two things so badly, i can't decide which path to take. Should I be a flight attendant, with high salary, and with traveling privileges (something i have always wanted-to travel), or should i take up law school instead? I mean, lawyers are respected and have got voices more heard than most people. And they can also get paid highly, (IF they are good lawyers of course so that money part is still uncertain for me.), and lawyers get to travel too right? please don't tell me to follow my heart i'm tired of hearing that. If i followed my heart i'd split myself into two and take both. So right now, i need your opinions on which career path is wise for me to choose?

Answer:
If you do the research, you'll find that law school grads are often sueing the places where they received their law degrees because the law schools overexaggerated the employment statistics of their graduates. Avoid law school. It's overpriced, and there is an oversupply of lawyers in the marketplace.

With this recession, airlines are dropping their employees like flies. Becoming a flight attendant can be a very hard job to acquire because it's easy and well, like you said, the traveling is great. If you become a flight attendant, you will stay a flight attendant. This is a field that you simply cannot get a promotion, that's it!! Ironically, the worst the recession. the more jobs there will be for law students, because with poverty, crime will rise significantly. This is a job that will always be around because people will truly need you. Instead of pouring diet coke, you are going to be helping people change their lives for the better, you will certainly have a more significant roll in life. And not to mention, you can start working as state provided attorney and work your way UP!. you will always have room to improve and promote yourself. But if you don't like challenges then hey, go for the attendant job.
