When should I call back after submitting an application?

  • I submitted an an application at culvers yesterday. I am 15 and since the seniors will be graduating I applied. Anyways my friend walked in her application and got an interview a few minutes later because the manager was there. When I turned my application in he wasn't there and she applied 2 days before me. Today she got a call saying she got the job and I don't want to miss my opportunity so I was gonna call the manager to check on my application. There are 12 positions open and he has been getting a ton of applications how log should I wait before checking up??? Thanks

Call as many times as you need to do get an answer. Be extremely polite and respectful, but if you call every day to see if you can get in for an interview, the worst thing they will say is they have filled all the positions. Most managers will respect your persistence and have you come in for an interview or they will get sick of you calling and hire you just to get you to quit! You can call the day after you put in your application.
