Do you need any schooling to become a cna?

i mean i work at a nursing home now in maintenance and want to become a cna, do you need any additional trining, school time other than going for the 2 week or 1 month courses to get a cna license? like a nursing degree or anything else? and where can you go to take the courses for the cna license?

You need to get a certain amount of clinical hours in, and you do have to take a CNA class and it last a month but with the clinicals you have to do, it takes around 3 or so months to become a CNA.

Go to your local community college and find out their requirements. There is a state licensing exam at the end of the program. You cannot be hired until you have this credential.
