What are your thoughts on American Idol?

• TMZ has broken the story that producers of AI forced the judges to use the save on Jessica yesterday. The judges were not told who was going home, but they were explicitly told to use it. And they were also told to use it instantly. They were given no other alternative. So it's really not even the judges save, its the producer's save. I hate the save. It shouldn't exist, its fascism. It was clearly enacted to change the results in case they have a J-Hud scenario. Its american idol, not judges idol. Whoever gets the lowest amount of votes should go home. Bc thats what America decided. The judges cant save them after their album tanks, or when their single doesn't chart. And the save has not produced a single winner, or someone of any musical credibility outside of AI. The reason Jessica went home was bc she is boring, unoriginal, and overrated. She is really turning people off by trying to do everything exactly like beyonce. While the reason why beyonce became much bigger than her Destiny's Child counterparts, is bc she is an original (also Jay-Z helped her, but who doesnt have people secretly helping them from behind the scenes?). And if she really has an alter-ego BB Chez, she needs to fire her. Bc she has no personality, and the whole of an alter-ego, is to have personality. And the judges over hype her bc they clearly are playing favorites. Jessica is their perfect little "angel child" who can do no wrong, and everything she does is special. While Hollie, who is just as good, if not better some weeks, constantly gets criticism. The reason they're doing this is bc they so badly want a Filipino winner. Not just bc one has never made it this far in contest before, but also to break the "white guy from the south" winning streak. Lets face it, there's a reason why Colton and Phil are the only ones who have never been in the bottom 3, and its bc they are white males, with amazing personalities. Not to mention that they by far the most likable two on the show. And being that they're both from the south, doesn't hurt. The fanbase between the two of them is too big to fail. And one of them WILL be the winner. Why can't AI producers just accept that? They have a hit show that has a certian audience that keeps the show a hit. But they have done nothing but sabotage their prime viewing audience. They think that this will boost rating, but instead, it will hurt them. American Idol rating have been on the decline ever since the save was enacted in season 9. I really hope that Jessica gets voted off next week, just based on principle. She got the lowest amount of votes, and deserves to go home. I don't think she's all that great, and has the personality of a lima bean. We already have J-Hud, and Jessica is inferior to her. In both talent and looks. She is at a huge disadvantage here: She's not well liked. She's overrated. She's not from the South. She's female. She's not white. And she's fake & boring. She might have a big career in the Philippines, and other territories. But not here. We already have J-Hud. And don't say that J-Hud is any exception, AI had nothing to with J-Hud's success either. After she was voted off AI, she went into total obscurity (this was before youtube, twitter, facebook really took off). But she like any other singer/actress, auditioned for Dreamgirls, got to play second banana to Beyonce, and won an Oscar. Had she not taken that initiative, she would still be completley irrelevant.

  I couldn't agree more with you america decides who should stay because america is the ones that will buy their songs. Ya and Holly is just as good if not better than Jessica but every week is criticized. I am really getting tired of this show
