I can't connect to certain friends on xbox live?

Whenever I try to connect to some friends it tells me that I cannot connect to the host. And every time they invite me to an xbox live party, it will say cannot connect to party. It would say the same thing when I send them invites. I have been having this problem for quite a while now and its getting really frustrating. Can anyone help me fix this problem?

^Best of the best is a moron. I am not sure what happened but i have been having the same issues... I think it has something to do with our NAT ratings...
