Xbox 360, no sound? help?

I've got no sound on my xbox, I had none when I brought it because I didnt have the cable, but my boyfriend did something and got in working, anyhow he must have done something when he plugged his gamecube in, maybe hes unplugged something? but I dont know what? I dont want to wait for him to get back because I wanted to play on it to pass the time until he gets back! I dont know alot about them, so I dont know whats missing or what I've got to do, help ? :)

Answer:
Connected to your Xbox should be three different colored cables; yellow, white, and red. These cables connect to the tv and are there to connect audio and video to your tv from your Xbox. Make sure these are connected the the proper outlets on your tv. It usually goes yellow white red from left to right.
