I want close my facebook.

I have an account with facebook and want to close it and open a new one?

• is it against facebook rules to close an old account and open a new one? i cant get into my old account because i didnt verify it since i dont have a cell phone. would that make it impossible to close it, then? i want to buy a cell phone and start a new account with a different email because i've changed mine, and a different user name. can it be done, even though i cant get into my old account? and how do you close an old account?
