How do you put a video on youtube?

  • How do you put a video from your cell phone onto youtube? Do you need to transfer it onto your computer with a USB device or what do you need to do? Also do you need minutes in your phone in order to put it on youtube (Mine doesn't got minutes right now :( ). I've never posted a video on youtube and I was just wondering how it works so please help it'll be much appreciated :)!!

    If you have an iPhone you can upload it directly from the photos app. If you have another phone you can probably still upload it directly but you may want to transfer it to your computer first through a USB. Then you can save the file/video somewhere on your computer. Now go to youtube and click on the upload link at the top of the website when you're logged in. It will ask you to choose a file so choose the one you just saved and it will upload.

Click "My Videos" to access your videos. =>Other Devices If your video is on your mobile or handheld device, click the "upload from mobile" on the top right of the Video File Upload screen. A new screen will open and you will be walked through the correct process for your device. Also at the top right side of the screen is a button that allows you to upload videos from your webcam.
