How do you disconnect your google account from youtube?

New account on YouTube - forced to make a Google account?

• So I want to make an account purely for YouTube use, but it appears I'm forced to make a Google account to do so, but I don't want to do that, because due to Google's idiot idea that every should give private details to everyone, it means you have to use your name or they suspend your account (if you call yourself something that isn't a name) - and I don't want other YouTube users knowing my name nor do I want to use a fake name. Google won't even let you use a nickname to represent yourself? This is just stupid. Is there any way to get around this so I can have just a YouTube account with a YouTube username, while avoiding Google forcing me to give out private information? (Yes, I do count my name as private information on the internet).

  First of all, people, stop being mean!!! This person wants to know if she can make a YouTube account without making a google account, not to be told that they're being stupid!!!! I hate when people do that. Anyway, I'm the same, I don't want to create a google account, just a YouTube account, but unfortunately, there's no way around it :( its necessary that you make a google account if you want to make a YouTube account. Sorry, it's just not possible. I am just going to make a google account. I know you dont want to give out details, but they won't give it out to anyone else, don't worry about that.
