Why cant I put a password on my tumblr?

So I'm really freaked out right now, someone from my school has found my tumblr and is sending me weird messages, if you have tumblr then you know that you don't want people from your school finding it. Anyways, I go to my other blog, and putting a password option is available, I go to blog settings for my main, and its not. How come:?!?! its there any way I can block an ip address from visiting my tumblr? please help!
