My knee feels very swollen could there be a fluid in it?

Feels like there is fluid in my knee?

• yesterday around 2 pm my knee started hurting, didnt think anything of it so i just kept going on with my day. around 4 i started feeling fluid in my knee while at cheerleading practice. it felt like that till around 9pm and then i was lying in bed and my knee started tingling like a tickling feeling. it was not on and off pain it just kept going and around 11 it started tingling more and more till it finally felt like i had knives being stabbed into my knee and i literally was crying and could not bother sleeping ( i did try taking advil but it did not work ) around 12 am (midnight) last night it all of a sudden started decreasing pain but also a burning feeling allowing me to sleep and a few knee twitches or spasms here and there i also could not straighten my knee. Today, it was tinging in the morning and advil did not seem to do the trick once again but right now feels like fluid in my knee and a slight tingle as i am icing it and elavating it at the moment. I have been at practice about everyday for like a week for figure skating and i think it was overuse of my knee, who knows this is why i am asking you guys because i am totally clueless and did not find any thing on google throughtout my research. Although i do have some symptoms for nerve damage could that be it? i am a girl,16, 5'6, 130 pounds and very athletic if that helps thank you for taking your time in reading this and answering, if you want me to answer your questions feel free to send a link along with your answer :) thank you so much!

  omg i have the same thing in my hip 4rm what i found it seems like it is too much synovial fluid on the joint and needs to be drained. it can come 4rm overuse will let u no more wen i get info..
