What's the best SAT prep book?

SAT-----I need advice, someone please help!!?

  • Here it goes, I'm a junior in high school at the moment and I havent taken the SAT yet. I signed up for the June SAT and thats the first one I will be taking. I havent taken any practice SAT tests yet either. I was planning on taking the Princeton Review courses for the June SAT, but my question is, should I just get an SAT prep book to study for the first SAT (June SAT) and see how I do the first time? Then, take the Princeton Review Course over the summer, because Im also taking the test in October and November. OR take the Review Course for the June SAT, see how I do with it and study out of a book over the summer (to prep for the October and November SAT). If it helps....Im a strong student (97.2 overall average), but in all seriousness, I AM NOT the best test taker! Please help me, thanks!

  • Answer:

if you retake, do sept or oct, NOT nov. you dont want to be a senior waiting on winter scores and being waitlisted for your colleges while your friends get early acceptance. i would say try practicing yourself for june. if you get what you want, youve saved money. if you dont, you know exactly how far to improve for falls retake. for guidelines on whether or not to attend a company's program, please see the great blog below!
