Never make surgery as an option. Its expensive, it does not always work and it looks fake. If you just seldom go out, I suggest make up contouring. There are many youtube videos out there about it. Just search for it. If your nose is big, I suggest squeezing pure lemon juice on a glass or container, dipping a cottonball and wiping it on your nose.
