Sprained knee ligament help?
-
i sprained a ligament in my knee a couple weeks ago and yesterday my knee felt like it was almost fully healed so i went to play basketball. when i was playing it felt like my knee gave out on me and i heard like a crack or pop in it and i fell and it was hurting and it got swollen. I don't know if i re-sprained it again or what happened? also how long am i suppose to stay off it until i can start playing basketball or exercising again? any information would be very appreciated.

Answer:
i think you re-sprained it, if it got swollen that means u did sprain it. it can take up to 4-6 weeks maybe more or less, it also depends how bad u sprained it. i suggest u go to a doc, he'll or she'll give a something for it can heal right and faster, then he or she might give ya daily exercise for it can get stronger,
