How do I become an actress?

I really need help.....How do you become an actress?

  • ok so I really really really want to be an actress when I grow up and like that's the only thing I ever really wanted if I can't be an actress idk what I want to do but anyways I live in a really small town in Nebraska and get told I can't becuase you have to be realted to a celebrity to become an actress is that true actress which of course just makes me want it even more but I have no idea how to become one I've been looking for acting camps this summer and the only ones I found cost wayyy to much and is about 3 hours away and neither me or my parents have enough money but I reallllyyyy want to be an actress more than anything in the world so can you please help it would mean alot to me t

    First off, although I don't know you the chances of you becoming a famous actress when you've never acted before are very slim. The first step is to ask your drama teacher for help he will most like you be more than happy to help. You should also start taking acting classes. At my local theater there is a program with about 10 acting classes for only $65. If none of these work out for you, Practice on your own. Imagine yourself as another character and talk in front of a mirror. The best actresses actually listen to what the other actresses say as if they are in the story. Hope I helped, Laurie :)

you don't need to be related to a celebrity or have acting connections to be an actress. but you will need talent,ability and to get out of Nebraska. no one will ever hear of you if you stay there.
