How do american young people get independent and get a place live by their own?
-
I have been wondering about this,it seems young ppl here like to move out live by themselves.but most young people I knew at where I live, they all live with their parents.maybe because they are too young?their ages are about 18-19.some of them have a full time job but they didn't get their own place, but I think they tried, maybe it just didn't work out.there is one guy I knew he is live with te,but he told me is very hard.he have to work his *** off and take probably unless1/4 his income to pay for the rent, and when there is no one share the rent with him,he have to pay more.i think it is very hard for young ppl(age around 18-20) to live by their own,if they don't make a lot of money.as a young person who just get out of school with a basic job,how can he or she afford The high rent??Even if they can afford, will that be a waste of money to them while they can live with their parents. I don't know if is true that ppl in the US get Independent early.for me,a new Asian immigrant, that is pretty much the image of American ppl.but at the same time I seeing there are ppl getting a lot help from their parents.the help I meant is money.actually that might a common thing.but i really want to know more about how do ppl get independent here in generally.I knew many ppl want to be free, especially if they cant get alone with their parents.it is nice to get their own places.or live with some roommate.I wanna get my own place to be honest, but I'm not able to.even if Im able to do it,I won't do it.cuz for me this is not a way to use the money effectively. Why would I do that while I don't have a decent income and have a choice to live with my parents.in the point I don't understand why would ppl do that.maybe they have no choice?like if they are live in some place without any family and friend??or they just think is worth it,spend the money to enjoy some free?? In the future I wanna move to a city and try to make living there.but I think there are gonna be many problems.the rent is one, even My parents would support me on money.another thing is finding roommate, how do u guys find a good roommate if u are in a strange place??or u rather like to pay more rent and not consider to have some roommates share the rent??do you think there is a chance for ppl like me make future in the cites??? Thank you for your answer and help.

This would be much more readable if you created a space btwn the paragraphs, just some advice, lol. Most American young people who aren't away at college, do live at home. In my county, rents are ultra-expensive. $1,000 a month will get you an "illegal apartment" in somebody's basement so most people wait until they finish college to move out so they can have a better chance at landing a good-paying job and paying those bills.Car Insurance is astronomical and oftentimes can cost just as much as the rent; gas prices are rising very frequently and can be very expensive. Health Insurance is very expensive too. Back before the 80's, it was very common for young people to be out of the house by the time they're 18 but cost of living was a lot less back then and it was doable, now it's awful.

Actually I know a lot of young people who still live with their parents including ones who are not so young. It just depends on if you are able to make it on your own(money, working, car, etc). To me living on your own is a sense of independence. I mean there are certain things I would never do living with my parents out of respect. I would have no problem living in a new city without friends or family, that just me though. Its best to live with your parents until you are stable. There are people always looking for roommates, try your local classified in the paper.
