Which audio setup will be the loudest?

Will my car audio setup work? (speakers, amp, subs)?

I have an Infinity speaker system, and was told I'd need an amplifier for my two 150watt subs. So, is that amplifier going to work for both my subs, AND the speakers? I just wanna make sure it all goes together. any input would be greatly appreciated.

your speakers you'd run from the headunit/radio you have. the subs would run on the amp. yes it would work, BUT,i dont recommend that setup at all. that amps rms is 60w x 2, and 175w x 2 peak so anyone to argue saying it wouldnt work isnt audio smart,especially when you could just make sure you dont crank the volume and peak it consistantly and would be fine but you wouldnt get the best of your subs that way. but what is smart, is to not peak the amplifier out, so instead as example you should have a 150w x 2 rms amp with a 250w x 2 watt peak AS EXAMPLE. you always should match your amps rms rating with your subs rms rating, never give or take. the only thing you can give or take is peak of the sub or amp which is just power audio, for EXAMPLE IF YOU HAVE A 1000W RMS AMP WITH A 1200WATT PEAK WITH A 1000W SUB WITH A 3000W PEAK, THAT IS JUST FINE, PROBLEMS START OCCURING WHEN ONE CRANKS THE MUSIC WHEN THE AMPS RMS IS LOWER THAN THE SUBS RMS AS THE AMP WILL STRUGGLE USING ALL OR MOST OF ITS MAX/PEAK POWER, BASICALLY STRESSING AND OVERHEATING THE AMP UNTIL IT FRIES. GOODLUCK, may i also advise good infinity kappa 693.9i's and 62.9i's very strong good quality speakers, they might even still be on sale at futureshop. its their best speakers and will match your subs ;)

You will need a 4 channel amp for the speakers, and preferably a monoblock for the subs. (at least 150 watts RMS) Other than two amps (and of course a 4/8 gauge wire kit) you should be good to go. So long as it's installed correctly!! :)
