Why is my hair falling out more than usual?

Okay yeah I know it's normal to loose hair everyday but I'm loosing more hair now than I used too! I have thick hair so I'm not really all that scared to loose some hair to make it a little thinner but I'm loosing quite a bit. I have no blad spots (thank gawd!) and my hair is still pretty thick. I tease my hair on weekdays and dye it wacky colours sometimes. How can I make it stop rapidly falling out? I also am in some stress (my ex saying he misses me, ect. all that blargh)... How can I make my hair better. I rarely straighten it though I really want to, to make teasing easier. Anybody know what's up? Vitamin defency? Stress? Teasing? All above?

It's probably stress. I have that problem and I take supplements to support my adrenal glands to minimize the loss.
