Where is the Liverpool tax office?

My working tax credit and child tax credit has been suspended over 3 weeks ago, due to them saying i have been?

  • my working tax and child tax credit has been suspended due to them saying i have been living at my ex partners address in which is untrue and i have evidence to prove this they then asked for a letter off myself and my sister in which i sent off to the blackpool office after numerious phone calls i have now found out it has been passed on to a diffrent department in liverpool so i rang them and they havnt looked at my file, i dont understand how they can suspend all my benifits over something that i can prove is not true and all i have to live off is my wage is there any advice would be much appreciated

    They will have to look at your case and if they agree with you, you will get all the back money owed repaid to you. Unfortunately once your payment is interupted you are waiting on the government to sort it out, and they are always slow. I would keep on to them and take the persons name who you speak to, also always be as nice as you can, an upset but polite call will get better results than tearing them off a strip!! Good Luck

I know this is not much consolation,but i am also in the same position as yourself.I have been left virtually penniless since my partner died,and i have had to take out an emergency crisis loan until all the mess is sorted out,I was told that all i had to do was ring the tax credit people,and it would be sorted within two days,what a laugh!I am still waiting to hear,my money is running out fast,and i have a child to think about.The stress is terrible,as i imagine yours is also,but i just wanted you to know that you are not alone in all this government fiasco,and i truly wish you all the luck in the world.
