What is a permalink on Flickr and what do you do with it?

What type of links are accepted Flickr.?

• I added some images in flickr. Each and every image i added my website link in description. Some times i added my OPTIN url(free e-report) also. For few days back i received a mail from flickr. This is that mail: ----------------- "Don't Use Flickr for Commercial Purposes Flickr is for personal use only. If you sell products, services or yourself through your photostream, we will terminate your account. Any other commercial use of Flickr, Flickr technologies (including APIs, Flickrmail, etc), or Flickr accounts must be approved by Flickr." --------------------------- But i saw some other photos and groups in flickr. They added url`s in description. What is this? If any one have a good experience in this topic please guide me. What type of links are accepted Flickr. Once again i repeated. "I added my WEBPAGE link or OPTIN page link only" i am not interested to do any sales on here. We promote some products to my website. But i am not added that url`s to my flickr account.

  You are not allowed to put a link under each photo to a commercial website, the fact that others do so does not mean it is allowed, merely that they have not been caught yet. You can put a link in your profile, as long as it does not go to an adult site. You can reply to the email sent by staff if you believe they have made an error (it does happen), but with the low levels of staffing getting a reply can take a lot of time. I would suggest you join the AFM group on Flickr and ask for advice there.
