How can you strip black hair dye from hair?

• I dyed my hair a dark brown but it came out black, i decided I liked it, so dyed it black again since the colour began to fade. But now, i want to change colour and the black dye will not come out of my hair. i had roots so when I stripped my hair, it made my roots orange but the rest of my hair stayed black. So I stripped it again a few weeks later, and the same thing happened again. Since its been a while since I dyed my hair, I have roots, then dyed orange/blonde hair and then black, so like three stripes. my hair is awful so I went to the hair dresser and she cut the bottom of my hair and my layers which made it a little better, she also told me to use the shampoo vosene because thats what she used to strip her hair, its made my hair dark brown in places but still black in others. I have tried bicarbonate of soda on my hair and lemon juice, and also vinegar, it still stays black. I do not want to put a stripper on my hair again since it doesnt seem to work for me, I dont want to bleach it either since my hair gets enough damage with straightening, is there a way I can lighten my hair enough to dye my hair close to my natural colour?

  if you go to a good hairdresser they will be able to strip your hair back to your natural colour and then use a pre lightener to get it to a good base colour to then dye on top of. Some hairdressers won't do this too good and some will do an amazing job! just shop around remember that you get what you pay for!
