What's the shortest a teenager can or should cut their hair during the school year?

• I am 14, I am either shaving my head with clippers, or getting an extremely short buzz cut. The longest buzz cut I want to get is the #1 guard buzz, which is the shortest buzz possible. After that a buzz without a guard to a #000000 blade head shave is a clipper head shave. So this is the range of guards and 0 blades that I am looking getting my hair buzzed/ shaved to: a #000 blade leaves one day's hair growth, 1/50" = 0.5mm of hair on the scalp. a #00 blade leaves a day and a half's hair growth, 1/30"= 0.8mm of hair on the scalp. a #0 blade leaves two day's hair growth, 1/25" = 1mm of hair on the scalp. a #0A blade leaves 2.5 day's hair growth, 3/64" = 1.2mm of hair on the scalp. a #1 Guard leaves one week's hairgrowth or 1/8" = 3mm of hair growth on the scalp. So that is how short I want my hair cut. So now I want as little visible hair as possible for a teen in school. I want the minimum amount of hair that a teen should have. I still want hair visible. I just want as little as possible, or as little as you guys mention. Nothing is too short for me, I am willing to try anything. So I have a few questions, and by the way, my head has been shaved with no guard before (not on purpose at first, long story), : How short does a no guard buzz leave? If I ask for a no guard buzz will that leave me with a #000 blade shave, a #0A buzz/ shave, or a #00000 blade shave? If I get a no guard buzz/ shave, which blade should I get? Should I get the #1 buzz? Which guard/ blade leaves the least amount of visible hair that a teen should have? By the way, the basis of the question is what is the shortest appropriate haircut for a teenager in school. Don't annoy me telling me not to get a buzz cut or shave my head.Reason I am doing this is that my hair poofs when it is wet. I tried everything and nothing worked. I have gotten short buzzed before. Also, I swim everyday from now until September, so the poof thing is really annoying. My hair just hates me, and I hate it as I have to take time to style it in the mornings after showering, and that's time I don't have.   There is nothing wrong with short hair, but I am concerned about what other people will think of you. If you are going to a fancy party or something, a shaved head is not exactly appropriate. Also people might think that you were in prison or something. If you want to go short and sill look acceptable, I would go for the #1 buzz.
