What to do about greasy hair?

What can I do to help my sisters greasy icky frizzy curly hair? (any personal experiences with this)?

  • Her hair is curly but its frizzy like a WOLF (always knotty) but it also has this icky greasy feeling to it and she washes it enough but it just doesn't seem to get rid of the grease. Every time she uses my straighter, my straightener becomes all greasy and then that grease will go on to MY hair when I straighten it. What are some over the counter shampoo and conditioner I can buy at a local store that might help her clean and fix her hair?

  • Answer:

Ask her to get apple cider viger or the normal vinegar used in cooking. Take a mug. Fill 1/4th with vinegar and the rest with water. After shampooing and conditioning, ask her to pour that dilute vinegar(not the whole) slowly and message her scalp and her hair! Then pour the rest of it from above so that it covers all of her hair. Dont rinse off! Vinegar is a great leave-on conditioner and helps keep away grease.

to solve the greasy texture, have her put some baby powder in her hair. It will reduce the look/ feel of the grease.

Your sisters hair sound really yuck. If her is really oily she can probably get something to help that, If she uses your straightener and its all greasy get a tissue or something and wipe it off cause thats really disgusting.
