How did you get your name?(:?

My mom immigrated from China before she had me so when she gave me a name she didn't know much English. As a result I got the name Emily. Which is the most common name in my whole school. It's so awkward when someone says "Emily" and five people turn around at the same time.

My mom got it from the movie Steel Magnolia...you know, Julia Roberts character. She heard it and fell in love. BQ: It's pretty.

My mom's grandfather was named Thomas and she was really close to him before he died. My middle name is after my dad's father and his name was Hayden. So, my mom and dad named me Thomas Hayden. BQ: Bella is nice. It means beautiful which is cool but Mekensie seems really silly. Did you know that the name Mackenzie means "SON of Kenneth"? I hate misspellings.

My name is Kate Elyra Lastname. When my mom was growing up she always loved the name Katie. Just Katie, not short for anything. She plained to name her first daughter that until her sister in law name her first daughter Katie Elizabeth Lastname. Another thing my parents wanted to do was honour their parents and give us their names as middle names, Jonah and Lyra (I'm a twin). So, my mom decided that she would be really clever and make my middle name Elyra insted of Lyra and then my name could be read as Katee Lyra instead of Kate Elyra. BQ: I think it is beautiful but I'm not a fan of the Me in Mekenzie, I would like Makenzie Better but, thats just me.

Some actress in a soap opera my mom used to watch. My middle name is my grandmas name. BQ: I like it, but don't like the spelling of "Mekensie".

My mom named me after the Edgar Allen Poe poem, The Raven. So, my name is Raven. BQ: Every time I hear the name Bella, I think of Twilight. But I do like that name.

Vanessa was my moms friend from childhood and Guadalupe is my dads moms middle name.
