What's a public high school like? :S?

Long. Annoying.

Boring, has disgusting bathrooms, filled with tons of ignorant people, and feels like a complete waste of time. It's not that great.

Pretty much the same as private but a lot more students & crowded school rooms. I went to over 8 different schools as a kid. I moved a lot. I went to public & private. Most of my classes had 30-32 students & one teacher. One friend & I had to sit on the floor in a few classes. We volunteered to sit on the floor away from other kids. It was just so crowded. Some of our schools here are so crowded they have school in little trailers. Private schools often have smaller classes depending on the school. The one I went to had about 15-20 kids per class.

Public schools are okay. Everyone is different. Not everyone is a ho.

"Hey where's the teacher, I need him to put this in the grade book" "he cut like an hour ago" "why are we still here then?" "it's warm and if we all leave he'll get in trouble!" *math teacher finds out you're gay* (to principle) "hey did you know they were gay?" principle never talks... EVER...

I go there it is a **** hole. Last year a few girls were caught having sex in a students car. Hope you like drugs to it is full of that. So it sound like if you don't change your ways or change school it is not gonna be good four you.

It's okay I guess. I'm a freshmen and it's really really tiring :( but if your outgoing you'll be just fine. People at my school like outgoing people. I'm shy though :/

Oh mine was real classy

It's not that bad. You don't have to dress like a slut to go to public high school. I go to a really rough public high school and there are loads of people who dress in normal clothes. From my experience, it is actually true that people hang out in little groups, such as the geeky people, the popular people, the cool/swag/boss dudes, the music people, the weird people, etc. It's kind of weird, but whatever. At my school, it's a regular occurance to see fights, drugs being sold and cops walking around the hallways, but my school is really bad, so your might not be like that. Anyway, it never affects me because I don't hang out with those people.
