Why do my nipples change size constantly?

How do I change my rim size on a 2009gsx1000?

  • I ride the track alot and my street tires aren't cutting it any more. My skill level has actually exceeded my tires skill. Last weekend at the track I was running michelin pure's, and they got to hot on me, melted and failed and contributed to my crash. I ride a 2009 GSX1000, and wanted to put dunlop slicks on my bike, but dunlop doesn't make my rim size in slicks. So I was wanting to change out my stock rim size to the dunlop slick rim size.i dont know what all is involved in this, can I simply just change out the rims, and that be the end of it and theyll fit, or is there much more involved? Right now my stock rim size is front/rear 120/70ZR17/190/50ZR17, and I was wanting to change them out to 125/80X17/190/55X17. Is this possible to do? What about rim clearance on the side and my brake calipers and rotors will this work out or do I have to change all of that area out. But I'm mostly concerned about the rim and tire clearance on the side. Please can anyone help me out with this before I have to pay an arm and a leg at a motorcycle shop!

  • Answer:

I think your clearances will be a problem. I'd strongly suggest finding a tire manufacturer that makes the tires you want to fit your GSXR. I'd bet you can find something that works, seeing as how the GSXRs are one of the dominant bikes in Superbike. I'm thinking those guys aren't riding on road tires.... I don't much like the idea of changing the geometry of any bike in any way. Seems to me that it was engineered to the tire size, and that's what it wants for the best steering. http://motorcyclebackroads.com/

hi man. the rear is really fine change it no problem at all,and you will not feel any change and coast nothing the same price the bike will get higher from the back 2.5mm .trust me will be better and faster bit. but about the front you need to see if there is enough room for for the extra size?i think 125 will be fine as only 2.5mm each said you can see by your self.about the 80 maybe you need to put up the garde bit up with extinction. after that you need to know the bike again *** for you will be new bike not yours as you get new handle.so you need to ride the bike slowly to find out how to handle it in corner and lean and hight speed. i did that with my blackbird. the only problem i got the speed limit in the clock 30 miles but in real 33 miles.

They make slicks for the standard rims of your bike. Just look a little harder.
