Can I still be a male model?

  • I was wondering if I could be a male model if I got the acne scars on my face removed. Everyone is always saying how gorgeous I am and that I could be a model but im not sure if they are telling me the truth because I have acne scars on my face. I am 20, fit about 6 foot and have always wanted to be a male model/film director when I got older. Now that I am older I feel like I should be following my dream but im just not sure if its possible with my set backs. Please answer my question as truthfully as possible. Thank you! :)

    Models and looks, what an interesting combination, not true, but interesting. The job in many cases for a photographer is to show an image that is not the truth. Trust me, its not about you. Really, its not even close. If your twenty, your probably just fine in modeling.

I think you could. From what I've seen everything is "fixed" with makeup and photoshop. So even if you have scars I don't see why you wouldn't get a modeling job if you are appealing (attractive).

yes, ive seen them use makeup to cover the worst looking birthmarks/scars, ull be fine. . .although it will make it a more less of a chance for u to make it in the industry

Well, there is photoshop so I'm pretty sure a few scars won't be a problem. Don't take my word for it though, I've never been in or close to the modelling industry,
