What can i do for Food ideas for my Sweet 16 on a budget?

• I have a long time until my sweet 16 like quite a few months, but i am OCD about organization especially something this big! I am a girl and I am throwing a techno-metallic-club themed sweet 16. I have lighting and a friend is my dj. I am working on a venue, but my major concern is food! My older brother works at a pizzeria so he can get pizza quite inexpensively. But I need snack food, candy, you know food to have in bowls around the party room. I dont have my exact budget, but food can be the most costly part of a sweet 16. I am at about 150 for decorations, tableware, and the cake (I am making a fondant tiered cake myself) but i am in need of some low cost ideas of snack food, club like drinks and how i can get them served! if guests want a drink i dont want them pouring it themselves per say, but i dont want to pay someone to do it either. Any low cost ideas would be greatly appreciated! Drinks & food! Low budget! around 30 people invited and it may drop! thanks

  With a club theme, you want to do snacks and finger food. If the music is good and the party is going well alot of people wont eat that much, but have ALOT to drink! Dancing makes you sweat and thristy so make sure to have punches, sodas and water as a choice. You could have a parent or a friend make mocktails for all of the guest. You dont want them to make there own mocktails so pick one signature drink for them to make. You can make smoothies or even non acholic champange im plastic champange flutes, super easy to make. Chips, dip, cookies, furit trays are all cheap and the cookies and fruit trays you could make yourself. You can use black table cloths to block out the light and strobe and mini strobe lights to give out a real club feel. Also you could block out a vip section for you and your friends. Make sure you have a red carpet. Check stores like the dollar tree (they actally have some good stuff if you dig around) walmart, party city ect, shop around for differnt things. I know party city has cheap mini storbe lights and you could diffently work with 150 for the decorations, table wear ect. I was the same way when I planned my party last year, what you could even do is when you see something that you might want to use at your party, buy it and save it for your party.
