How to connect sata cable to laptop?

  • My laptop doesn't have a sata port and I checked it already, but I think there is still another way to connect the sata cable. Is it possible to use a usb sata adapter to connect the sata cable. I know that it could probably work because I was trying to flash my xbox 360 and I couldn't flash it without a sata cable. Also I wouldn't ask how to flash it also on yahoo because even though they knew, they wouldn't answer my question but I know how to flash it anyway. The other thing is that my desktop doesn't have a sata port thing either inside the main computer, so I'll just use a laptop instead cause it's way smaller and I don't need opening it like the desktop. I think that I could just connect the sata cable to the xbox 360's hard drive, and then connect it to the usb sata adapter thing. What do you think I should do if it works or not works?
