Computer screen is in black and white?

Computer screen is black with a white bar?

  • In the middle of something a box popped up asking if I would allow a program to make changes on my computer, I said yes and typed in my password, and now the computer screen is black and there is a tiny white bar in the top left corner that is flashing. How do I fix this? Thanks!

    Starco is right. Next time be very careful about allowing programs you don't know to access & change your computer. Most likely it was a virus of some kind & wiped out your hard drive, and it may have even accessed sensitive & private info to steal your identity. You may be able to repair & recover your OS. Try booting use the F8 key to see if you can recover/repair or boot to a previous known good point, otherwise you may need to reinstall your entire OS again. You may want to have a good tech look at it first to try to recover any data from your hard drive you wish to save before reinstalling the OS & maybe he can recover your previous system for you too.

Good morning Crystal there is a way you can fix it but i t requires you to have a OS CD. and do a Windows Repair depending on the OS. which will fix the errors and leave your data intacted . and if this doesnt fix the issue you may need to format you OS
