Whats the difference between the ipad 2 and the ipad 3?

  • Can you please describe both? I want one for my 16th birthday and I can get the second generation, but im wondering is the 3rd one worth the extra money? whats the difference?

Basically, the 3rd generation has an improved mega pixel camera which will give you better pictures. An example is on the ipad 2 when you zoom in to take a picture you get that grainy effect with a higher pixel camera that wouldn't happen and you have a better picture. The screen is better...greater clarity (preparing for the ibooks with the media like the free biology textbook that have in itunes for preview) and of course the processor should be better giving you better speeds when working on the ipad 3.
