  • Answer:

This refers to a file name that is in a location not available. Often found when it was accessed last using a storage device. if you had that PowerPoint on your USB then put it back in then try opening it. it wont work if the USB is not in because it cant find it like that.

This usually refers to a file name that is in a location no longer available. Often found when it was accessed last using a USB device (thumb drive, etc), external hard drive, cd or similar; basically any form of removal media that may have been detached from the computer at this point To see if J: is valid, simply open the My Computer / Computer icon (where you normally find the "C:" partition and others listed in explorer view. If J: is not listed or is empty then of course you will get this message. If J: is there and accessible then the file itself is moved/deleted/corrupted or such.

I do not think that powerpoint 2003 is running anymore, i would contact microsoft via website and explain your problem. I do know that ms ar not updating xp anymore as windows 7, later windows 8 (beta)are being tried. Anyway good luck.

The File menu displays shortcuts to the most recently saved PowerPoint presentations you saved. If you move, delete, or rename the presentation that was saved, you get the message you are asking about.
