My windows 7 taskbar disappeared?

I was adjusting my taskbar when it suddenly disappeared. I tried restarting the computer and typing in "explorer.exe" in the taskbar & its still no luck. Help!!!

it probably has auto hide. one option is you can try press the window key for the start menu to pop up. then right click it goto properties and unchecking the auto-hide. you could also move your mouse along the edges of the screen, the task bar should pop up. right clicking it and click properties and uncheck the autohide. if your autohide is not active then you've accidently resized the taskbar. again you would have to move your mouse along the taskbar until the arrow changes to a resize icon, click and drag the task bar to proper size. P.S. Also scan your computer make sure there's no viruses on your system. basedo n the Behaviour you are describing your system may have a malicious software or virus running in the background.

Press CTRL+ESC. That should make it appear. If That don't work restore system back a day behind when it happened.

Drag your mouse all the way down to the bottom of the screen. If you see it slide up..it might be set to "auto hide". If it IS there, RIGHT CLICK on the task bar, choose PROPERTIES, and select the check box that says "Auto Hide Task Bar". If it does not show up, try to drag the mouse to the other edges of the screen. You can drag your task bar to the right of the screen, the left side or even the top, and sometimes that happens by accident. Again, if it shows up, see if it has the Auto Hide function checked.
