Using True-crypt to encrypt document and send through email (how????)?

hi i am having hard time trying to understand how to use true crypt to send encrypted documents through email. is that possible, if yes can anyone please take me step by step i know how to create volume > AES > password > mounting volume. But, then how do i encrypt my word document. And then how do i send that encrypted document through email so that another person can open document with my secret password on another computer? please help, thanks

As I understand it, True Crypt is for disk volumes (hard drives), not individual files. I guess you could try Axantum to encrypt your files instead. http://www.axantum.com/Start.html - Dominic
