What quality, free video editing software is best?

  • I have a desire to create youtube videos, but with a new Windows 7, I'm clueless as to what free video editing software is the best out there. I would like to have the same that all the famous youtubers have..

hi there I best recommend Ezvid for you. It works perfectly great for Windows 7 and YouTube. With Ezvid, you can import pictures or video clips onto it. You can add text slides, add a background music or even do a voice-over and upload finished videos to YouTube straight. It's really a pretty decent solution to everything. well , i know you said "free" software, but sony vegas pro is the one that pretty much all famous youtubers use. it cost like 500 dollars tho , but thers a way to get it for free and its not that hard, go on youtube and type in how to get sony vegas for free , thats what i recommend you do , but if not then just get camtasia but its not that good and u cant do that much with it. (effects wise)

Sony Vegas. You can't get 'quality' and 'free' in the same category for video editing. There are a lot of ways to get it for free though.. :/

Movie Maker is the only free one I can think of, but the quality is crap. Final Cut, Vegas and Premier are really good ones, but they do cost.
