Can I buy a phone from HTC online and have Verizon Wireless as the provider?
-
I am interested in purchasing the phone called the HTC ChaCha. It is available on the HTC website. My current phone is a Verizon Wireless carrier. I was wondering if there is some way that Verizon could provide for this phone. Thanks for your help !!! I need it !!

Answer:
I doubt it. Most cell phones that uses Verizon are locked. You can't just buy any phone and think it will operate with Verizon. Verizon only uses CDMA network and not GSM network. Verizon Wireless does not use any sim cards on their phones. Only A T&T and T-Mobile uses GSM network and requires sim cards on their cell phones.
