How do you download songs onto a cell phone?

  • I am about to get a cell phone and it says that it has mp3 player. But it doesn't come with a USB cord. So how do I get songs on my phone? Do I have to use the internet on my phone to get the songs?

    The charger probably doubles as a usb cord. If not you can just download em off the internet on the phone

You will have to buy a Micro sd card. Put the micro sd card into your phone, this will put files for music and ringtones on the Micro sd card. If your computer does not have a sd card slot on it you will have to buy a USB card reader. Then download the music you want to the card. Go to my computer and locate the music and move it to the music file. Then remove the micro sd card and put it in your phone. Some phones advertise that they have a MP3 player and they will only play music that is in MP3 format. So you will have to add music to the card to see if it will play. If the music is not in MP3 format and will not play on your phone you will have to convert your music to MP3 format to get it to play on your phone.
