Why won't my iPod Shuffle charge?

I have a iPod shuffle 2cd gen.<-*I'm assuming* and i have NO idea on how to use it/charge it etc.please help!!?

    If this is the glitch, you can't charge it... This could be the technical issue.. Report it to the service to get things fixed... Good luck!
