Why does my hdtv turn on then and then turn off?

Why does my 55" sanyo lcd hdtv model# DP55360 turn on and turns off immediately?

You have a problem on the board. Probably blown resistors. There are probably 4 resistors on that TV's board, and you have all but 1 blown, which allows just enough to juice to power it on for a second, but not enough to power the display. Resistors are very cheap ($.25-$.50 each), but having the work done professionally will cost you $100-$150 bucks.
