Are LG home theater speakers interchangeable?

Is there a way I can automatically have Simplink go to my Home Theater speakers?

I have an LG 47" 1080p 120Hz 3D LED Smart TV (47LW5600) with an LG home theater system, and I love simplink, the only thing I'm not liking is the fact that I need to go and manually change it from the tv speakers to the home theater speakers every time I turn it on. I'd like it if it just automatically did this, does anyone know of a way?
Answer:

Do you have a cable or satellite box? If yes, feed audio to the home theater amp from the box instead of from the TV. Leave the TV volume control all the way down to zero without muting the set.

use on tv AUDIO L R OUT as input to home theater .turn ht on with remote.then MUTE tv.
