What is special about white passport?

What is US white passport and how can I get one?

  • I have an Iranian passport , and have US green card also. I'd like to get a US white passport to travel to other countries without visa problems that my Iranian passport would have. May I ask you to help me?

    There is no such thing as a "white passport" in the U.S. Only U.S. citizens may apply for a U.S. passport. You must wait til you become an American citizen to apply for an American passport. Permanent residents are still citizens of their home countries and cannot apply for an American passport. When you have your citizenship papers , you must submit those with your passport application to prove you are a U.S. citizen.
