Has any gotten married on a carnival cruise?

Is another visa needed for a cruise to the Bahamas or Mexico?

  • My parents have gotten 10 year valid U.S. B-2 visa after my father has retired from civil service in India. They plan to visit us in the U.S. in the summer. I'm a Green Card holder married to a U.S. citizen. We want to surprise them with a cruise to the Bahamas or Mexico. Would that be possible or would they need to get a visa for the cruise - so no surprise.

  • Answer:

Let me just give you an answer instead of stupid senseless shouting! I recommend to book a cruise to Mexico as surprise for your parents. I quote the information of a Mexican Consulate: Any foreign visitors who travel to Mexico as tourists, on business, or in transit to another country will not require a Mexican visa, regardless of their country of citizenship, as long as they have a valid passport and a valid US visa. Passengers embarking on tourist cruises do not require a visa to visit Mexico regardless of their nationality; they only need to present a valid passport at points of entry. http://portal.sre.gob.mx/atlanta/index.p%E2%80%A6 .. Information of the Bahamian consulate in New York: Cruiseship passengers traveling to The Bahamas This Information Note is to advise of the recent change in policy with respect to cruise ship passengers traveling to The Bahamas. The Government of The Bahamas wishes to inform that with immediate effect, persons from those countries whose nationals would normally require visas to travel to The Bahamas, are now required to obtain a visa if they plan to travel and depart from The Bahamas via cruise ship. India is among those countries whose citizens need a visa to enter The Bahamas. http://www.bahamasny.net/applications ..
