What's a really good video camera I can buy?

Whats the best professional video camera that you can buy with 1500 dollars which has memory card?

    Define "professional video camera". My definition has the camcorder including a lens system that is 70mm or larger, 3CCD or 3CMOS imaging chip array that is 1/3 inch or larger and XLR audio inputs... find those and all the other stuff you need comes along. There is no camcorder in your price range that meets this. The closest is the Panasonic AG-DVX100 (for standard definition video) or the Panasonic AG-HVX200). They use expensive P2 cards. Or, you can look into the Sony HVR-HD1000 and add an XLR adapter (juicedLink or BeachTek) and an external memory module from Sony. This also well outside your budget.
