Is it safe to keep a plasma ball near a computer or a computer screen?
-
I just bought a plasma ball, the ball is 20cm big and originally I thought that it would look neat on top of my computer and near my screen, but is it safe to keep it near to either one of them? Will it damage my computer or my computer screen, if yes, how long does the distance need to be?

Answer:
It should be fine, those balls are usually pretty low-powered and any sensitive parts on your computer should be well shielded. In fact, I once owned a plasma ball that was powered off a USB port.
