When you become a GM. how long do you train for??

Do I have Have to get the MOS 68W or 68S before I can train to become 68p?

  • I want to join the Army, I have for a while and I thought it was as simple as walking into a recruiting office and saying, "I would like to join the Army and train to become an x-ray tech." and the recruiter would just say "Ok, lets do a background check and see if every-thing's good and I'll try and get you that job." but it isn't anything like that, they're trying to convince me to do jobs I have absolutely no interest in and as for obtaining a medical Technician job they're telling me that I HAVE to become a health-care specialist [Combat Medic] or Preventative medicine specialist [68s] before I can have a job as a medical laboratory specialist or X-ray technician or other Medical jobs involving working in labs and Hospital like environments, is this true? if so, why? I Do not want to be a Veterinary assistant, Dental Assistant, or anything similar to being a Medical Clerk, i'm already a medical assistant and I DO NOT want to do something similar to that, I want to increase my medical skills and/or become a Medical technician of some sort. AND PLEASE no smart-*** answers like google it or anything like that I already did that and that's why I'm here.

  • Answer:

No, those are lies. You can enlist with a 68P contract, it's just a rare MOS due to the small number of them.
