Do you think Canada's government is an effective democracy?

Do you think Canada is doing an effective job at being a democratic society? I think they aren't doing such a great job, because a lot of the issues going on nowadays aren't getting the input of the public - the people actually affect - instead, it's just the parliament. The last time I checked, a democracy was majority vote, but isn't Canada not really democratic, because it's not even including most of the population? What do you think, and why?

It works for them, but I am sure the system is not perfect! However the U.S. is not Canada and we can not run our country with their rules, we have our own and we need to get that guy in the White House out, he is posing as our President,
