How bad is the I-95 thing right now?

Did I do the right or wrong thing?

  • Please answer, I seriously have no clue. Important background info: Ok, so I am half black, but my biological mom (who is white) has two other children with my non-biological father. So I am darker then my sisters, mother, and father. It is evident that I am bi-racial. Now to question: I was at a easter party today at a family friends house. One guy who I know through some mutual family friend was there (who is my age, 15 years old) as well as some other kids my own age. We were all hanging out, and he starts making some racial slurs, using the N-word to describe black people, saying some very known stereotypes, and talking about how he dislikes the race entirely. All while I am sitting there. Not to mention that he made some pretty negative comments about gay men having the right to serve in the military, which I found repulsive. Ok, so right then and there I told him that I really was not a fan of racist people, but I didn't say much to him after. Here is what I want to know if it was the right or wrong thing: Later on, I told my mom about those things that he said. She was outraged, and told me that she needed to talk to the mother, because this is not the first time on of their kids (They have 5) has said something rude and racist. But idk if I will be looked at as the tatle-tail from everyone now! I am in high school, and regardless of what people say, a reputation is very important! I am not sure if I did the right thing by telling my parents and if it will ruin my relationships with people. Should I have just kept the racial stuff to myself not getting my parents involved? Did I do the right thing by telling???

  • Answer:

I think you did the right thing, he shouldn't have been saying that. Of course, being the homeschooled loser that I am because everyone hates me I don't know anything about reputations and stuff.

You did the right thing. It's wrong to have a thing against gay people, and it's also wrong to be racist. (:

next time don't go to your parents just tell the kid straight up that he is being ude. Going to te parentsmakes you look like a tadl tail and like you can't stand up for your self

whatever you think is right, anybody who said against it is actually breaking your confidence, anything that increases your confidence is truth
