How can you tell when he is flirting?

How can i tell when a boy is flirting with me? and how can i flirt back without being annoying and awkward?

• there's a boy in my class who i kinda like and i'm not sure if he likes me back. he knows i like him. and i cant tell if he's flirting with me. he's from argentina and i'm fully american. he moved here like 3 or 4 months ago. and when i first met him his friends told him to ask me out, then i said yes... but it was just a joke.. now he thinks i like him and i do, but i say i don't, so i don't scare him off. he likes to tease me a lot and make fun of me secretly (to me only) he likes to bump into me in the halls and shouts my nickname a lot. my friends think i don't like him cause i told them i don't and now my friend likes him. and i luv her but she's not the prettiest person ever. and she knew i liked him before and she started to like him. so she likes him and they talk a lot, from what i know at least. but i cant tell if he just likes to flirt with all the girls or if it's just me. and when he bumps into me he turns his head and puts it in my neck ( i'm taller than him :/, well im one of the tallest kids in my school, i go to a private school and its really small like there's only 50 kids) but anyway he puts his head on my neck but kinda like a cat rubs against your leg and when he bumps into other girls he just bumps them with his shoulder like if you were in a crowded hall and everybody's rushing. and my nickname is kikiwiki but everybody shortens it and calls me kiki (my friend came up with it i hated it at first but when he called me it for the first time i loved it) just because the way he says it in his little raspy spanish voice ^-^ So i cant tell if hes flirting with me or not soooo please help me!! (P.S. i'm in 6th grade and i know ypu probably think im to young but i look and act like a fourteen year old, i have a 14 year old sis so that pretty much explains that. soo please help me know? and how i cant flirt back without being awkward and annoying ??

  He probably knows you still like him and so he is probably just teasing you.. if he does flirt with other girls and your best friend why would you want him? anyways just act natural and make him think you don't like him so then he will try harder to get (you if he likes you) and he might if he only does certain things to you but you never know if he does those with others unless you are continuously watching him... my guess is he is just a flirt don't be upset when he never asks you out honey because chances are he wont.. sorry
