Is it ok to ask temporary employees to contribute to parties?

Is it ok to ask to be invited to parties?

• Im 16 and when I was younger, none of the kids really liked me :( but as I got older and changed, people started to like me more. My exams are finished in about a month and I wanna go to one of the after exam parties. One of my friends is always invited so is it wierd if I ask him to get me invited or if I just ask the party holder myself? I would bring booze, so that would be a plus.

  When I finished my exams, alot of people in my year also threw party's and gatherings. I wasn't invited to a fair few, but I went to as many as I could. If you try your hardest to get in to the first few, buy a crate of beers or something, have a good night, don't make a dick of yourself then you may find that you'll be invited to many more. If you think you purposely haven't been invited to one, then don't just show up, ask someone who's going to throw in a word or have a word yourself and see what the crack is, but never be rude. It is their party after all, if they don't want you there then that's their decision.
