How To Make Bread?

How do you make spaghetti and garlic bread?

  • I want to try and make spaghetti with Ragu sauce since I think it's pretty easy to make. I was looking at some videos on how to make garlic bread but most of them are different. So I want a little more opinions on how to make garlic bread and spaghetti with Ragu sauce.

  • Answer:

I love to bake, but I usually cheat and use frozen garlic bread! Very easy, cheap and still tasty. Usually a spaghetti night for me is a lazy night though. :) Good luck. For spaghetti, I usually just add sauteed veggies or browned hamburger to the sauce and warm it. I cook the noodles until they're too my liking. Some people like them softer and others more al dente, so I'd say after they start to soften and boil well carefully take a noodle out and test it until you get the texture you like.

cook the pasta, drain but don't rinse, toss with a 1/2 cup of the sauce and serve the rest of the heated sauce at the table to top the pasta with. Adding some browned ground beef to the sauce makes it more substantial, you can also heat the sauce up with some pre-cooked frozen meatballs. Split a loaf of italian or french bread longways. Make a paste from 3 cloves of chopped garlic and a 1/4 teas salt and some fresh parsley, mix into 4-6 ounces of softened butter and spread on the bread, place in a 425F oven for 8 minutes, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake another 3-5 minutes or till hot and crusty, slice and serve.

How I personally make garlic bread...I start with a loaf of french bread split in half lengthwise. I then crush and mince a few fresh garlic cloves. In a bowl, I add the garlic cloves and a couple tablespoons of butter. I microwave the butter and garlic for a couple minutes to infuse the butter with the garlic flavor. I then add cold butter to the melted to butter to create a creamy mixture. I spread this mixture on each half loaf. Then put the loaves, butter side up, in a preheated 425 degree oven and watch until it's cooked to golden brown. And spaghetti...Bring salted water to boil, then add noodles. While noodles cook, I brown italian sausage in a large pan. Once browned, I add fresh chopped onion, minced garlic, diced roma's and sliced mushrooms. Once mushrooms are tender, I add whatever jarred or canned sauce I have on hand and let simmer about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, once noodles are tender, I strain in a collander, then place the collander in the original pot I used to boil noodles and cover with a lid until sauce is done simmering. One thing I've also learned, mayonnaise browns really well on bread in place of or mixed with butter and it doesn't make it taste funky at all.

Here's a quick and easy recipe: Take amount of Spaghetti desired, put that aside. Boil water that's twice the amount of spaghetti you're using, with a bit of salt (According to your taste) and put the pasta inside the boiling water. Let it boil until pasta is cooked. When cooked. Drain the pasta. Quickly put some olive oil into pan and let it warm up a bit, when it is warmed up, place pasta in it and sprinkle some pepper on top. Mix oil and pasta together and leave that aside. Heat up Ragu in another pan and let that sit as well. Grab some garlic, shred, cut, smash them into tine little pieces and mix in with unsalted melted butter in a bowl. If you don't have garlic cloves, get some garlic powder and mix with unsalted melted butter. Take whatever bread you want and dip the surface of the cut side part into the mixture. Don't let it dip too much, just a little. Then place bread into baking sheet, place it in the oven with 350 degrees for about 4-5 minutes. To serve: Place pasta in a bowl, pour some Ragu on top. Take garlic bread, place it next to pasta. And enjoy~ :D
